Jon Horton caught eight passes, including a 30-yard touchdown, and Stan Gelbaugh threw for 325 yards as the London Monarchs (9-0) defeated the Sacramento Surge, 45-21, to clinch a World League of American Football berth. The game was played before a sellout crowd of 21,409 at Sacramento’s Hughes Stadium, the first sellout for the first-year league.
