Pinochet Visits Britain

LONDON — Chile’s army chief and former military ruler Gen. Augusto Pinochet arrived in Britain on Saturday for talks with arms manufacturers on a trip shrouded in secrecy.
He kept silence over his itinerary but was expected to meet with executives of the aircraft and weapons group British Aerospace and its subsidiary, Royal Ordnance.
