Quayle Names Chairman of Space Advisory Board

WASHINGTON — Vice President Dan Quayle on Friday named Laurel Wilkening as the first chairman of the Space Policy Advisory Board, which will advise Quayle on space policy issues and recommend action. Wilkening is provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Washington. Quayle will select 30 other people from the private sector to serve on the board.
