Kirk Pierce of Westminster High School has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Cal State Long Beach, Westminster Coach Chris Sorce said.

Pierce, a two-year starter at catcher, hit .403 with three home runs and 32 runs batted in this season. He hit .240 his junior year.
