St. Rita Track Team Sweeps Finals of CYO Competition

The track team at St. Rita School in Sierra Madre, competing against 57 schools, swept the Catholic Youth Organization finals.

Led by Coach Randy Davies, the 37 St. Rita students, who are in grades four through eight, won the meet in all four divisions--Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, Boys B Team and Girls B Team.

Individual first-place winners included Kevin Koeper in the mile run, Mary Megan Fitzgibbons in the long jump, Lara Davini in the 440 and Stephanie Koeper in the mile run.
