East Hartford, Conn. — Aeromexico has chosen Pratt & Whitney turbofan engines to power 18passenger jets in an order worth $295 million for the jet engine manufacturer.
Aeromexico, based in Mexico City, ordered three dozen Pratt-built PW2000and PW4000 engines for Boeing 757 and 767 jetliners.
