Woman Shopper Slain in Parking Lot of Mall

A woman was killed Friday evening in the parking lot of the Topanga Plaza mall in Canoga Park and Los Angeles police were looking for a male suspect.
It is believed that the woman, who was holding a large bag when she was slain shortly after 7 p.m., had been shopping in the mall, Sgt. Ted Hanson said. She died near the entrance to the May Co., Hanson said.
Police had not determined the motive for the killing.
