A Bishop for Lincoln: New York’s Lincoln Center Theater is expected today to name Andrew Bishop, artistic director of Playwrights Horizons in New York City, as its new director. Bishop, 42, will be taking over from Gregory Mosher, also 42, who announced earlier this month that he planned to leave at the end of the year to spend less time in administration and more time in a rehearsal hall. He will become a resident director at Lincoln Center next year and will continue to stage new productions.
