Darts Story a Picador for Reader
There are no words in the English language capable of expressing the outrage and frustration I feel concerning the article “Dart Game Bets Land 3 in Jail.”
Here we read that two undercover police officers with the support of uniformed officers arrested three men in a local bar for betting on darts. Do we find out that this is a gang hide-out or mob-funded? Do we learn that there are drugs involved or maybe a little prostitution? No. Just three men enjoying a small bet. This is vice? Wouldn’t it be just a little, teeny, tiny bit more intelligent to use these officers’ skill and knowledge, not to mention our vast quantities of tax dollars, to catch real criminals?
