Brown in Town: The Wiltern Theatre will be the site of James Brown’s first public appearance since his release on parole last month after serving 15 months in a South Carolina jail for assault charges. The June 10 show, which Brown called the “Mother of All Concerts” at a New York press conference on Tuesday, will be televised on a pay-per-view basis. Brown said that he would line up some of the biggest names in show business to perform with him. A Wiltern spokeswoman said that no other acts have been confirmed and that no decision has been made on whether tickets will be sold to the public.
