Damien Gets Grants for Computer Program
Damien High School in La Verne has received three grants and awards to expand and upgrade its computer program.
* The Weingart Foundation has given the school $25,000 to upgrade the computer science classroom and independent study laboratory.
* The Ahmanson Foundation has provided $10,000 for equipment for the laboratory.
* Aetna Life & Casualty Insurance Co. has given the school an IBM computer and peripheral equipment.
