BE Avionics Wins Airline Video Pact: BE Avionics Inc. said Wednesday that it has won a contract to install passenger-seat video systems on the fleet of Boeing 747s of an unidentified Asian-Pacific airline. The company said the contract, valued at $3 million, covers initial installation only. The Santa Ana company also said another airline from the same region has expanded its order for passenger video systems to cover additional aircraft. This raises the value of the purchase order from $5.2 million to about $9 million, the company said. Citing competitive reasons, a company spokesman declined to identify the two airlines.
