PREP ROUNDUP : Townson’s Double Lifts Buena Park

Adam Townson had a three-run double in the fifth inning to help Buena Park to a 5-3 victory over Westminster in a nonleague baseball game Monday at Westminster.
Geno Robles pitched four shutout innings for the victory for Buena Park (2-4). Westminster is 2-3.
In another nonleague game:
Sunny Hills 5, Saddleback 4--Mark Veronda had a two-run single in the seventh to give visiting Sunny Hills a 4-3 lead. Tony Martinez grounded out to drive in the final run for Sunny Hills (3-3). Saddleback is 3-2.
In the Fullerton softball tournament:
University 3, Villa Park 2--Nicole Shammas had two hits and two runs batted in for University in the championship game.
In nonleague softball:
Cypress 0-1, Savanna 0-0--Elicia Chad (2-0) pitched a one-hitter and Monica Jimenez hit a home run in the second game for host Cypress. Jimenez pitched a no-hitter in the first game but it was called after seven innings by mutual agreement of the coaches.
