Blood Drive Efforts Cut After Flood of Donations

The blood supply is expected to be “just where it needs to be” by month’s end, and collection efforts will resume as usual, she said.
The Red Cross had issued an urgent appeal for donations Jan. 14 because of dangerously low supplies of blood for local hospital use.
