One Ice Climber Killed, One Hurt in Avalanche

MT. WASHINGTON, N.H. — An ice climber died and his partner was injured when an avalanche swept them off the wall of a Mt. Washington ravine and they fell 2,000 feet, authorities said.
The accident occurred Sunday in Huntington Ravine, about four hours after another climber was injured when he fell about 700 feet nearby.
