Have Angels Heard the Last From Joyner?
When it comes to salary arbitration, Wally Joyner has led a charmed life. He will receive $2.1 million for 1991 after having played only half a season in 1990. He has never really carried his weight since his sophomore season in 1987 and yet he always wants more money.
However, the charm may well be over by the end of the 1991 season, if not before. I still remember Ron Romanick vs. Mike Port.
