GIRLS’ BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS : 16 County Teams to Play Saturday in Quarterfinals

Sixteen Orange County teams will be in action Saturday night when the Southern Section girls’ basketball playoffs move into the quarterfinals.

The featured game will be in Division II-AA, where Sea View League champion Tustin (25-3) will play host to fourth-seeded Riverside North (24-1).

All games start at 7:30 p.m. Quarterfinal pairings involving county teams:

Division I-A: Capistrano Valley (18-6) at Buena (23-2), Cerritos (18-9) at Marina (23-4), Thousand Oaks (25-3) at El Toro (19-6).

Division II-A: Valencia (19-8) at La Habra (21-5), Woodbridge (22-5) at Pioneer (23-5), Bishop Montgomery (22-4) at Cypress (21-6).

Division II-AA: Riverside North (24-1) at Tustin (25-3), Brea-Olinda (26-1) at Garey (13-12).

Division III-A: Rancho Alamitos (25-0) at Rosary (13-7), Costa Mesa (18-8) at Yucca Valley (15-7).

Division III-AA: Lompoc (19-2) at Newport Harbor (13-11), Magnolia (15-7) at Estancia (24-1).

Division IV-A: Orange Lutheran (11-9) vs. Western Christian (19-4) at Covina High School.
