Countywide : Red Cross Plans Forum on Gulf War

The Ventura County Chapter of the American Red Cross has scheduled a public forum Friday to provide information to people who have family members serving in the Persian Gulf.
Representatives of county agencies and groups that offer services to families affected by the war will be at the Community Presbyterian Church, Lincoln Drive and Poli Street in Ventura, at 7 p.m.
Among those agencies represented will be the American Red Cross, Interface Children and Family Services, County Veteran Services, the American Legion and Upjohn Health Care.
“The American Red Cross is also pleased to announce the formation of a community support group for families affected by Operation Desert Storm,” Lenore Gabel, area spokeswoman for the American Red Cross, said. “The details of this group will be announced at the public forum.”
