Long Beach Wins Despite Miller’s 40

Genia Miller scored 40 points for Cal State Fullerton, but the Cal State Long Beach women used a more balanced attack to score a 79-68 Big West Conference victory Wednesday night at Long Beach.

Kari Parriott scored 18 points for Long Beach (7-3, 12-7) and Dana Wilkerson added 16. Claudette Jackson had 16 points for 24th-ranked Fullerton (9-4, 16-6).
