ON THE TOWN: Black rock is alive...
ON THE TOWN: Black rock is alive and well at the China Club Thursday where you can see Total Eclipse, which features Andre Berry and Victor Johnson from the Busboys and Dave Brown and Bernie K. from Sound Barrier. Bernie K., the band’s lead singer, just finished recording harmony vocals with Bruce Springsteen on a pair of tracks which could appear on the Boss’s upcoming album. . . . Meanwhile, it’ll be blues and spoken-word poetry this Saturday at Bogart’s, featuring Phast & Bulbous, Louie Lista & David Wulff, Linda Albertano and more participants from the Rhino Records’ “Hollyword” compilation album.
