Italian Porn Star Starts Hunger Strike for Peace

ROME — Cicciolina, the Hungarian-born pornography star and member of Italy’s Parliament, said Monday she is starting a hunger strike against the Gulf War.
“I hope that other legislators and ordinary citizens who believe in an international conference on the Middle East and who oppose any kind of war and any form of violence will join me in this fast,” she said in a statement.
