ASK Corp. Ceases Operations: The Waco, Tex.-based maker of cogeneration and natural gas power products announced that it has ceased operations and will convert its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings into Chapter 7 liquidation. The company has been operating in Chapter 11 for more than four years. It said it tried to reorganize its business while in bankruptcy, but failed because of lack of revenue, continuing operating losses and an inability to raise enough capital. ASK moved to Waco from Reno in 1978.
