VENTURA : Man Gets 6 Years for Selling Cocaine
A former Ventura hotel manager was sentenced Friday to six years in state prison for his role in the sale of a kilogram of cocaine to undercover Ventura police officers in October.
Mario Waters, 31, who has since resigned as general manager of the Harbortown Marina Resort Hotel in Ventura, was sentenced by Judge Charles R. McGrath after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to sell cocaine.
Waters had negotiated with the undercover officers for several months.
