GenCorp: The Fairlawn, Ohio, maker of aerospace, automotive and plastic products reported net income of $63 million for 1990, compared to $210 million in 1989. Most of the 1989 profit, however, resulted from the sale of its RKO broadcast unit. GenCorp’s 1990 revenue of $1.775 billion was down 8% from 1989. The company, which has been restructuring, said the key reason for the drop in revenue was lower sales in its aerospace unit.
