Public Service for Allen Is Friday

A public memorial service for Cal State Long Beach football Coach George Allen is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Friday at the Rolling Hills Covenant Church, 2222 Palos Verdes Drive North.
Private funeral and burial services will be held earlier Friday, according to Tony Capozzola, who was Allen’s attorney.
Allen died Monday at his Palos Verdes Estates home at age 72.
