A 28-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning, after his car veered out of control and struck a tree, authorities said.
Luis Ayala Vega was driving about 75 m.p.h. in the fast lane of California 163 southbound, near Interstate 805, when his car ran off the freeway shortly after 10 a.m. and struck a tree just off the right side of the road, police said.
No one else was hurt, police said.
