Los Angeles Washington High guard Charisse Sampson scored 56 points in an 87-39 victory over L.A. Jordan Wednesday, setting what her coach said he believes is a City record.
Washington Coach Phil Chase said he thought the record was 51 points set by Locke’s Doreatha Conwell against Washington in 1984. The City keeps no official individual records in any sports.
