Proposition 128
Seldom have I seen such sour-grapes bitterness as was evidenced in the post-election letters (Nov. 15) from the supporters of the defeated Proposition 128. Different letter writers referred to the electorate as “lazy,” “ignorant” “greedy” and other contemptuous epithets.
I guess what I’ve heard about liberals and environmentalists is true. While professing to be democrats, what they really want is some kind of elitist oligarchy that knows what’s best for us, the benighted public.
Sorry, but we still live in a democracy. As I recall, the voting on Big Green wasn’t even close. You lost.
