Todd Demsey, 18, of Del Mar was one of 10 players named first-team Junior All-American by Rolex/Golf Magazine. Demsey, who led Torrey Pines High to the 1990 San Diego Section golf championship and is now a freshman at No. 1 Arizona State, finished among the season points leaders in the Junior Golf 15-18-year-old division.
“I’m real proud,” said Demsey, the 1989 San Diego Junior Player of the Year, currently a zero handicap. “All through my junior career I looked up to the All-Americans.”
