PIRU : Juveniles Blamed for 5-Acre Grass Fire

Five juveniles were apprehended on suspicion of setting a grass fire that burned five acres in the Torrey Canyon area of Piru, officials said.
The fire began at 11:58 p.m. Monday. Six fire engines responded and extinguished the flames by 3:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Fire investigator Bill Hager said the juveniles have been assigned to a program on the appropriate use of fire.
