Ex-Official Says Iraq Will Free All New Zealanders

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — Former Prime Minister David Lange said today that all 17 New Zealand hostages in Iraq and Kuwait will be released.
Lange, just back from an unofficial visit to Iraq to negotiate the hostages’ release, said the captives will assemble in Baghdad and then travel to Amman, Jordan. He said it will probably take two days.
