‘Cheers’ Ratings Soar with Special Episode

The one hour broadcast of “Cheers” last Thursday--a self-congrarulatory salute on the occasion of having produced 200 episodes--drew the highest ratings of any program this season, NBC said. The network estimated that 52 million people watched.
