NC-17 Under Fire: A group in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area is gearing up to wage war against the movie industry’s new adult rating category, NC-17, maintaining that the new designation will enable movies with pornography and excessive violence to be advertised more extensively and shown in multiscreen theaters. Tarrant County chapter of the American Family Assn. is asking its 2,600 members to call theaters and urge them not to show NC-17 movies.
