The Affair Continues: Maureen O’Boyle, a correspondent, producer and fill-in anchor on “A Current Affair,” will anchor the nationally syndicated news magazine for the 1991-92 season, replacing Maury Povich, who previously said he would leave at the end of the season to work on another show. O’Boyle has anchored the show for the past four weeks during which time the show’s ratings have increased, according to a show spokesperson.
