Car With Explosives Seized in Lebanon

JERUSALEM — Israeli soldiers and South Lebanon Army militiamen Wednesday discovered a car packed with 330 pounds of explosives in Israel’s self-declared “security zone” in southern Lebanon, an army spokesman said.
A joint Israeli-Lebanese force on routine patrol seized the car and arrested two suspects inside the vehicle near Tel Hamas, the spokesman said. A demolition unit blew up the car.
