La Canada 20, Burroughs 7--After scoring its first touchdown of the season, Burroughs surrendered the final 20 points in a loss at La Canada. Burroughs (0-3), which had been outscored, 91-0, entering the game, scored first on Eric Arcinega’s one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The run capped a 25-yard drive, which was set up by Eric Levandofsky’s fumble recovery.
Quarterback Marco Esquivel accounted for most of Burroughs’ offense, completing five of 18 for 46 yards, but he was sacked five times. Ben Goldwasser was the Indians’ top rusher, gaining 18 yards in seven carries.
