Agoura Hills Firm Sells 1,000 Computer Systems

Electronic Clearing House Inc., an Agoura Hills company that provides check and credit card clearing services, said it sold 1,000 transaction-processing computer systems to a unit of American Express in a deal worth about $500,000.
Electronic Clearing House said American Express Integrated Payment Systems purchased the systems, which dispense money orders and consist of a terminal and a printer. The systems are made by Computer Based Controls, a subsidiary of Electronic Clearing House.
