U.S. Seeks Syria’s Help in Mideast
This is in response to the letter (Sept. 9) by Richard Boyce, stating that Israel has “unmitigated gall” in asking for its debt also to be forgiven.
Was it unmitigated gall to bomb the nuclear reactor in Iraq and thus save the world from a holocaust in 1990? Who but Israel saved Jordan from invasion by Syria or Iraq, warning them that such a step would meet with the Israel Defense Force?
Israel’s stabilizing influence in the region is priceless.
