Not Measuring Up
Regarding the measurements given in illustration of “Different Fence Types Offer Privacy, Security” by Larry Eisinger (Aug. 26):
72 inches is three-quarters, (not two-thirds) of 96 inches.
60 inches is three-quarters (not two-thirds) of 80 inches.
48 inches is three-quarters (not two-thirds) of 64 inches.
Therefore, “three-quarters of post above grade” not “two-thirds of post above grade”!
I wonder how many elementary school students caught this?
