Truck Kills Worker at Construction Site
A workman died Friday morning when a truck filled with gravel backed over him at a construction site in Ramona.
Steven Terrance Burrows, 41, of La Mesa, was leveling gravel at a job site in the 23000 block of San Vicente Road when the truck started up and backed over him, according to a report by Deputy Coroner Calvin Vine.
Burrows, who worked for Sim J. Harris Co., was killed instantly, the report said.
