Plane Missing 7 Years Is Found by Accident

ANCHORAGE — A small plane that disappeared seven years ago has been found in mountainous terrain southwest of this city with the remains of its three occupants, authorities reported Friday.
A passing helicopter pilot’s chance discovery of the crash closes one of the 50 cases of missing airplanes that have occurred in Alaska over the last 20 years, the National Transportation Safety Board said.
