City Directors on Tuesday approved providing additional money for D. M. Griffith & Associates Ltd. to continue seeking $367,236 owed the city in state and federal disaster funds from the 1987 Whittier earthquake.
The Carmichael-based company specializes in helping cities and counties recover losses from disasters once emergency aid has been granted by state and federal governments.
The company was initially paid $20,000 from Pasadena for its work and will receive an additional $28,000 under the increase approved Tuesday.
