Dinnerware Firm: What do Pope John Paul II, Princess Diana and Ivana Trump have in common?
Well, obviously they are all famous, but that’s not the right answer. The correct response is that Villeroy & Boch claims that the trio dine off its china.
And wouldn’t you know it, the West German firm plans to establish its first retail store in the West at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa this August.
Villeroy & Boch Creation will carry an extensive selection of dinnerware patterns, gift items and crystal. The store will be situated on the sprawling mall’s second level near Bullock’s department store.
“The retail center’s aggressive marketing campaign and customer draw are consistent with our expansion and growth plans,” said Dale Ritter, president of Villeroy & Boch’s U.S. operations.
