The Culver City Redevelopment Agency unanimously approved a two-building, mission-style design for a downtown fire station at Culver Boulevard and Irving Place.
The proposed 23,600-square-foot station, at 9600 Culver Blvd., will consist of a front building, which will house the fire station and residential quarters, and a rear building for mechanical repairs and communications, according to a staff report.
The design also includes a 32-foot hose tower, one driveway on Culver Boulevard and two driveways on Irving Place, and 24 parking spaces, according to the report.
