Woman Reports Sexual Assault
A 31-year-old woman was raped in Camarillo by a man who offered her a ride because her car was disabled, authorities said.
Deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department responded at 1 a.m. Tuesday to her report of the attack, which occurred in the 5000 block of Santa Rosa Road, Lt. Gary Backman said.
The woman told deputies that she accepted a ride from the man because he had agreed to help her.
