Volunteer Helpers of All Ages Sought for USO Facility Work in Long Beach

LONG BEACH — The USO of Greater Los Angeles is looking for volunteers at the USO facility in Long Beach in the following categories:
Senior volunteers--helping with registration, information, checking, snack bar and personal services.
Program volunteers--planning and participation in programs such as dances, recreation and community events. Must be between 17 and 25 years of age, out of high school and single.
Senior volunteer advisers--to support program volunteers in all their programs and activities.
Evening and weekend hours are available. A military background is helpful but not required for volunteer positions. Call the USO at 437-2008 or write USO, 230 Pine Ave., Long Beach, 90802.
