NEWPORT BEACH : Councilwoman Hart to Seek Reelection
Incumbent Evelyn R. Hart has declared that she will run for reelection to the City Council in November.
Hart, 59, is serving her third consecutive four-year term in the District 3 seat, which includes Newport Heights, Mariners, Cliff Haven and Bayshore. She has no declared opposition.
She lives in Newport Heights with her husband and has four grown children.
Hart has been a city resident since 1952 and was mayor for two years, ending in 1985.
