Seattle Mariner Manager Jim Lefebvre says he will appeal suspensions or an “outrageous” fine against his players for their roles in a rhubarb at the Kingdome last Saturday.
American League President Dr. Bobby Brown reviewed tapes Tuesday of the 20-minute brawl, which erupted in the eighth inning of the Mariners’ 6-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. He is expected to announce disciplinary action today or Friday.
