Scouts Salute Michael Jackson: Michael Jackson will be honored by the Boy Scouts of America on Sept. 14 at a banquet during which he will receive the first “Michael Jackson Good Scout Humanitarian Award.” The dinner will be chaired by Walt Disney Co. chief Michael Eisner. The award was created and named for Jackson in recognition of his humanitarian efforts and will be made nationally available for all Boy Scout councils in the United States. Future honorees will be selected by the Boy Scouts in conjunction with MJJ Productions, Jackson’s production company.
