Louisiana State basketball player Wayne Sims was involved in a bar room fight in which he smashed a beer bottle across another man’s head, according to police in Baton Rogue, La.
Police said a man identified as Johnny Gibson was cut in and around the ear by the beer bottle. Also, a woman at the bar when the fight broke out says she was cut by a piece of the bottle, and, according to her lawyer, received seven stitches above her right eye.
The police report did not say what triggered the incident.
